Adeptal Limited is a technology company. We specialise in solutions implementation, system integration, and software development and integration across broad application and technology stacks.
Our Privacy Policy in a Nutshell
Adeptal Limited does not currently allow the general public to upload content for publishing on our site. If somehow a general public user does manage to upload such data, the copyright remains with the user and Adeptal will take reasonable steps in a reasonable amount of time to remove such content.
Clients are able to upload project artefacts onto our site. Ownership and obligations will be covered by the individual agreements between Adeptal Limited and the client. In the absence of ownership provisions, the entity or person (if not acting on behalf of an entity) will retain copyright and ownership of the artefacts.
Adeptal does intend to provide for non-client users to register and contrinute to this site in the future. Notwithstanding ownership rules to be developed:
- Adeptal Limited will not, except as requested by a competent law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction over Adeptal Limited, divulge, sell, or otherwise distribute your personal information without your express permission.
- Adeptal Limited retains the right to reject or remove content uploaded by you at any time and for any reason and will not be held for actual or consequential loss incurred as a result.
- Should Adeptal Limited’s data be compromised by a third party and that results in your personal data being inadvertently or illigally obtained or distributed, Adeptal Limited will comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the jurisdictions it is subject to in order to inform you of such a loss and take reasonable steps to protect you from the consequences of such loss.
- However, where a data breach is caused in part of wholly by yourself (for example, but not limited to disclosing your credentials, or inadvertently making your credentials accessible to third parties); or by a third party comromising your data outside of Adeptal Limited’s site (for example, but not limited to a third party maliciously compromising your desktop and obtaining your credentials), Adeptal Limited will only perform its obligations under the relevant jurisdiction’s regulations when it is notified of such a breach. Adeptal Limited does not currently have the tools to detect unusual usage patterns and you as a user accept and indemnify Adeptal Limited from any responsibility and obligations as a result.
Cookies
Adeptal Limited does not create, store or use any cookies to collect personal or usage information relevant to a specific user or entity. We only use cookies tol
- Allow clients and, when enabled, registered public users to log into the site and maintain a user session until the session is terminated by either explicitly logging out of the session, closing the session, or after a set period of user inactivity.
- Once a user session is terminated, the session cookie should be deleted from your browser. However, if for some reason, it remains, it will be obsolete and not be able to be used.
- The session information contained in the cookie is only relevant to identifying a user is logged into the system and the session is active.
- For security and data privacy reasons, we do not have a “Remember Me” function when logging in. Once a user session is terminated, the user must explicitly log into the site again if they want to use features only available to logged in users.
Embedded content from other websites
Adeptal Limited’s articles and other content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
GDPR
Adeptal Limited operates its web sites in full compliance with GDPR. Only registered users can submit requests under GDPR.
Data we do use
Adeptal Limited, on an anonymised basis, stores all locations on the sites users vist, whether they are registered/signed in, or guests. At present, we only store the URL accessed and the timestamp it was accessed.
We do assess each request to determine if a bot or web crawler is accessing the site. Bot access is stored separately to user access where we do retain IP address and other identifying information for analysis purposes. For bot, web crawler and similar “users”, you agree to allow us to store and use this information.
We do assess new bot, webcrawler, and similar “user” details to validate we are in fact storing information in accordance with this policy. If we find access what we determined bot, web crawler, or similar “user” access to the site is in fact a standard guest or registered user, we will delete the records and reconfigure the site to store such access as anonymised user statistics.
In Summary
Adeptal Limited does not store personal information of general public users, and for clients, it stores the minimum required. We comply with GDPR, and we do not forward your information to anyone without your express permission, or as required to legal law enforcement organisations only for the jursidictions we oeprate under.
We don’t store anything other than session management details in our cookies, and if we have a data leak, we will notify you and take reasonable steps to protect you from the consequences.
