Hello all! Welcome to Adeptal’s site.

Yeah, we know a site under construction is not a great look to the ordinary pair of eyes, but we are an extraordinary solutions delivery and bespoke software development company that does things differently.

Unlike many technology companies and technologists, we see applications, integration and technology as a means to an end; not the end itself. We are a user and use-case centric delivery company. But our philosophy is a whole lot more than that.

We like to deliver enabling solutions that work for all users in and outside your organisation. Sometimes, it’s the simple things that can make a huge difference. For example, understanding how your business works, so we build user interfaces and automation thay minimise clicks and maximise throughput.

Another example is performance. While function beats performance hands down, slow responding systems can frustrate and allow distractions to creep in, especially for fast thinking users. The opportunity for a user to direct their focus elsewhere while waiting for systems to respond is real and destroys productivity. We have seen it time and time again.

Yet, despite the raw grunt power of computers increasing exponentially, many systems that perform the same functions with the same volumes of data seem to take the same, if not longer time to respond. All for the sake of some new development methodology which may have some academic application, but in the real world does nothing but increase processing times for no practical gain.

We hate this as we have seen first hand how productivity is destroyed with latent responding systems allowing users minds to wander and forget what they are doing, or be distracted with less important tasks. When we deliver a solution, one of the key criteria we uuse to deliver is the speed and performance now, and scalability into the future.

Another way we differ is that our technologists understand business! These days, technologists only want to understand the technology. Understanding the business and why they are implementing a solution is secondary. At Adeptal, this is our primary focus; if we don’t understand the business, we accept we are not able to design and bring together different applications and technologies to optimally solve your business problems (or take business advantage of what technology has to offer).

As such, we employ people that are specialists in delivering to specific business areas; or they have the capacity, willingness, and demonstrated evidence of learning about businesses they have been implementing solutions for. Yes, we have project managers and business (or product) analysts that have a great understanding of your business, but our technologists also know enough to question and act as the last line of defence of designing, building (or configuring) and implementing your business solution.

And we have experince across a multitude of business domains, including financial services, enterprise resource planning for wholesale/retail organisations, defence, and enterrpise asset management for power generation and distribution companies.
